If you hate the many dates, names and historical facts but you still want to discover the city like a local then this is the perfect walk for you. We share the many myths and legends of Thessaloniki while exploring the (arguably) most beautiful part of the city. Enjoying fantastic views but Keep in mind that this is an uphill walk!
Historic Landmarks
We are not licenced tour guides and we do not enter the historical sights. However, you will find out that our volunteers are very knowledgeable and eager to share what they know. Ask them anything!
Volunteer story-teller
Our guides are indvividuals who are highly interested in topics such as history, architechture, religion and gastronomy and in their own right. Story-telling is just their passion!
Story-telling
We don't follow the standard way of information bombardment the typical guided tours do. Dates and names are mentioned for purposes of logical coherence only. The heart of the tour is in the story-telling!

Some 25 people booked the todays 10.00 a.m. free tour and found themselves waiting for 45 min. No guide turned up. Be aware and don't book with Explore Thessaloniki!! omorfizoi
